Last weekend I joined Jaz Elliot, Charlie Fay and Tom Hardy from The Avenhams during the recording of their new single VANILLA.
I spoke to the Preston born lads about recording with producer John Martindale at Blank Studios in Newcastle, their recent appearance on Sky Arts, and their plans for the future.

The band derive their name from Avenhams Park in Preston. A place of ‘escape’ and ‘rebellious joy’ in their home town.
The band recently performed an acoustic version of their track Cold Honey on Sky Arts.
